2 cups cabbage - finely chopped
1 tomato - finely chopped
3/4 cup onion - finely chopped
3 tablespoons garlic - grated
2 green chillies - finely chopped
2 tablespoons green coriander - chopped
1/4 cup coconut - grated
1 teaspoon mustard
asafetida - a pinch
curry leaves - little
2 tablespoons mustard oil
salt - as per use

To make the cabbage palya, first cut the cabbage.
