Ingredients

  • 4 Potatoes (Aloo) - boiled
  • 1/2 cup Coriander (Dhania) Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Mint Leaves (Pudina)
  • 4 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 inch Ginger - chopped
  • 1 Lemon - juiced
  • 1 tablespoon Peanuts
  • Sugar - a pinch
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin (Jeera) seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • Fresh Pomegranate Fruit Kernels - for garnish
  • Sev - for garnish
  • Chaat Masala Powder
  • Sunflower Oil - for cooking

Instructions

To begin making Green Chutney Aloo Chaat method, wash and put the potatoes in a pressure cooker with enough aqua and close the lid.Place the pressure cooker on burning up and pressure make the potatoes for three whistles.

Turn off the burning up and let the pressure release naturally.After the pressure in released discard the aqua and let the potatoes cool.

Once cool, strip the potatoes and chop the potatoes into equal bite size and keep them aside.While we are waiting for the potatoes to cool, we will make the green chutney.introduce all the components listed under *For green chutney* - the coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger,green chillies, seasoning, granulated sugar, lemon and peanuts to a mixer grinder, introduce little aqua and grind the green chutney until creamy.Now we will skillet shallow fry the aloo.

Preheat a skillet and introduce little shortening.

Once the shortening is burning, introduce cumin seeds and let it splutter. After the cumin seeds have spluttered, introduce the potatoes and saute.

introduce seasoning to non-honeyed profile and swirl around shallow fry potatoes till they evenly turn light golden brown on the outside.

introduce cumin dusting masala condiment, garam masala dusting masala condiment and swirl around well to combine.

Turn off the burning up. Once the potatoes have cooled a bit, combine the green chutney with the aloo and combine to coat all the aloo pieces well with the green chutney.

strew chaat masala and combine.Transfer the green chutney aloo chaat into serving bowls.

accentuate with pomegranate kernels and sev and dish up.
