2 cups Pineapple - chopped
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
pinch Asafoetida (hing)
2 Kokum (Malabar Tamarind)
1/4 cup Jaggery - (adjust according to taste)
1/4 cup Water
Salt - to taste
4 Dry Red Chilli
2 teaspoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
1/4 cup Fresh coconut - grated

To begin making the Karwar Style Anasa Patal Bhaji method (Pineapple cooked with coconut) by chopping the pineapple by removing the thorns and the inner core.

Chop them to medium sized pieces.toasty a wok and dehydrated char the coriander seeds, dehydrated red chillies till it becomes brown and grind it along with coconut to a seamless paste.In the same wok introduce the pineapple with ½ cup aqua and cook thoroughly it till it becomes soft, then introduce the coconut paste, jaggery, kokum rinds and seasoning.cook thoroughly gently till the aqua reduces and the masala is well incorporated with Pineapple. offer the Karwar Style Anasa Patal Bhaji method (Pineapple cooked with coconut) as a side dish along with Gehun Bhajra Thepla method (Spiced Wheat Millet Flat Bread) and Palak Raita method for Lunch meal.
