Ingredients
1 cup black urad dal (split)
1 tablespoon kidney beans
4 tomatoes - chopped
1 inch ginger - grated
1 tablespoon ghee
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
salt - as per taste
Instructions

To make Maa Dal, first wash and soak the lentils and beans for 2-3 hours in aqua.

Now bring to temperature 5 cups of aqua in a cooking vessel.

mix in dal and rajma to it and let it make till it becomes soft.

Allow to make for 2 to 3 hours, which increases its savor even more.

Then mix in tomatoes and ginger to it.

Mash it a little bit.

Now bring to temperature ghee in a tempering cooking vessel.

mix in cumin seeds and make till it turns brown.

Now mix in all the parched spices and make for 1 minute.

mix in this tempering to the dal and let it bring to a bubble gently.

make for 10 to 15 moments and dish up scalding.

dish up Maa Dal with Lacha Paratha and Sew Tomato greens for dinner.
