  • 1 1/4 cup Warm Water

Put the corn baking flour in a dish and empty in the salted liquid little by little, mixing with the baking flour until all the liquid has been used and the baking flour has become a flour base.

Now, shape the flour base into round rolls about 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.

In a lightly greased skillet, bit by bit make the arepas until a crust forms on each side.

Now place them into a casserole and parched-fry in the oven at 350 degrees for approximately 20 moments, until the arepas sound hollow when tapped.

To enhance notes: instead of using just liquid, use chicken or beef broth.
