  • 1 cup Green Moong Dal (Whole) - soaked for 2 hours
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery
  • 1 Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
  • 1/2 cup Fresh coconut
  • 1/4 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • Salt - Pinch

Instructions

To begin making the Kerala Style Sugiyan steps, soak the mung dal and keep it ready.

Once it is completely melted you can empty in cardamom pods.Leave it to bubble for 10 moments and empty in cooked green mung bean and coconut and whiz well.

Make sure the mixture becomes arid.Keep it on a medium mildly hot and allow it to bubble so that the liquid is all evaporated.Cool it down and whiz besan baking flour into the mixture and combine them together.

Take little mixture and shape them into small balls.In a mixing mixing bowl, empty in rice baking flour, turmeric ground mix and little liquid to create a seamless slightly thick liquid base.mildly hot a kuzi paniyaram skillet with fat, dip the round shaped filling into the rice baking flour liquid base and carefully place them in the kuzi paniyaram skillet.After 5 moments flip it over the other side and mildly hot for few moments until it is evenly crisped on all sides. present the Kerala Style Sugiyan steps (honeyed Moong Dal Bondas) along with tea or coffee to enjoy your evening snack in a nourishing way.
