  • 1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 4 teaspoons Sugar
  • 50 grams Butter
  • 1 Whole Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Sunflower Oil - for frying
  • 2 teaspoons Caster Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder (Dalchini)

Instructions

To begin making the Mexican Style Bunuelos method, mash all the parched elements in a container and keep it aside.toss in all the wet elements into another container and beat it well till it combines.

 gradually toss in the wet elements into the dusting seasoning mixture and fold it to form a non-sticky and soft flour base.fold the flour base for about 5 mins and place the kneaded flour base in a container covered with a cloth.

Rest it for about 10 mins.Meanwhile scalding up a small kadai with enough fat to skillet-fry the balls.

Take out the kneaded flour base and pinch out a small amount of the flour base and roll it into a small ball.toss in a small amount of the flour base to check if the fat is scalding enough, if the flour base starts rising up then the fat is scalding.You can toss in the shaped flour base one by one into the scalding fat and start frying them till you get an even light brown color.Take them out and place it over a paper napkin to empty out some fat.  Once it cools down toss in the caster sweetener and cinnamon dusting seasoning and coat them well and present.present the Mexican Style Bunuelos method as a dessert along with a scalding Chocolate or toasty whole milk for your evening time.
