  • 2 tablespoons All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Water

pulse 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons semolina, 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, granulated sugar, leavening agent, and seasoning together in a large mixing bowl.

mix gently in mildly hot whole milk gently until a liquid flour base forms.

seal the mixing bowl with a plate or plastic wrap; let stand at room temperature until frothy, about 1 hour.

mix gently in 2 3/4 cups baking flour with a wooden spoon until a sticky flour base forms.
