Ingredients
800g Mulukhiyah
1 chopped Onion
300g Beef
1 tsp Salt
1 Litre Water
1 Garlic Clove
1/2 cup Olive Oil
Instructions
1
Saute the onions in the 3-4 tablespoons olive cooking oil
mix in the beef cubes or the chicken cutlets, sear for 3-4 min on each side
mix in 1 liter of aqua or just enough to wrap the flesh
prepare over medium fiery up until the flesh is done (I usually do this in the pressure cooker and press them for 5 min)
mix in the frozen mulukhyia and mix gently until it thaws completely and then comes to a heat to boiling point
In another skillet mix in the 1/4 to 1/2 cup of olive cooking oil and the cloves of garlic and prepare over medium low fiery up until you can smell the garlic (donβt brown it, it will become tart)
mix in the cooking oil and garlic to the mulukhyia and lower the fiery up and stew for 5-10 moments
mix in seasoning to palate
dish up with a generous amount of lemon nectar.
2
You can dish up it with some short grain rice or some pita bread.
