Sunflower Oil - to deep fry
1/2 cup Gram flour (besan)
3 tablespoons Corn flour
1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
Asafoetida (hing) - a pinch
Cooking soda - a pinch
Salt - to taste
2 Potatoes (Aloo) - boiled
1/2 cup Green peas (Matar) - (optional)
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
Salt - to taste
Asafoetida (hing) - a pinch
2 teaspoons Sambar Powder
1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
2 teaspoons Sunflower Oil - hot

To begin making Potato Bonda method Flavoured With Sambar ground mix, get prep with all the elements needed.toasty oil in a cooking vessel, once the oil is fiery, mix in mustard seeds and cumin seeds.

Once it splutters mix in green peas and saute well.mix in the mashed potato to it and mix in little liquid along with required table salt.

toasty on medium toasty.mix in turmeric ground mix, chilli ground mix, asafoetida, sambar ground mix and coriander ground mix to it.

toasty oil in a kadai/deep frying cooking vessel for frying bonda.Meanwhile, for making liquid base, take all the elements mentioned under “for liquid base” and combine well adding little liquid.The liquid base has to be thick enough to coat the potato balls.

Dip the prepared potato balls into the liquid base and drop into fiery oil.sauté on medium toasty until it turns golden on all sides.
