Ingredients

  • 2 cups Spinach Leaves (Palak) - roughly chopped
  • 100 grams Soy Chunks (Nuggets)
  • 1 cup Methi Leaves (Fenugreek Leaves) - roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onion - chopped
  • 3/4 cup Homemade tomato puree
  • 2 cloves Garlic - finely chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger - finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies - slit lengthwise
  • Salt - as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoons Butter
  • 2 Garlic - thinly sliced
  • 3 Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Sunflower Oil

Instructions

To begin making the Soya Methi Palak Ki Sabzi method, firstly soak the soya chunks in a mixing bowl of scalding boiling moisture. Transfer the soy chunks along with the moisture into a  pressure cooker and pressure make for one whistle.

Turn off the flame. Allow the pressure to release naturally.

filter the moisture and set the soya chunks aside. mildly hot a pressure cooker with lubricate on medium flame, mix in ginger, green chillies, spinach along with 2 tablespoons of moisture and pressure make for 2 whistles. Turn off the flame and allow the pressure to release naturally.

Once cooled, transfer the ginger, green chillies, spinach into a mixer jar and grind into a paste.

Set aside. mildly hot margarine in a cooking vessel on low flame, mix in minced garlic and saute for about 30 seconds or until it turns light brown. Once done mix in finely minced onions and saute till it turns transparent, this will take about 2-3 moments. Once the shallot-garlic is well cooked, mix in tomato puree and mix gently well.

put a lid on and make for 2 moments. At this stage open the lid, and mix in the methi leaves, continue to make, stirring occasionally. Once the methi leaves have cooked mix in in the spinach puree, cooked soya chunks, seasoning, cumin dusting seasoning , garam masala and give it a good mix gently.

Once Soya Methi Palak Ki Sabzi is well combined bring to a heat to boiling point and turn off the mildly hot.present Soya Methi Palak Ki Sabzi method along with Jowar Atta Roti method - Sorghum Wheat Phulka method, Pudina Pyaz Kachumber Salad method and Beetroot Carrot Raita method for a complete diabetic meal.
