  • 8-9 Tomatoes - chopped
  • 1 Onion - chopped
  • 1 Carrot (Gajjar) - chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic - chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
  • Whole Black Peppercorns - as required and crushed
  • Fried Bread Cubes (Croutons) - as required

To prepare Tomato shorba procedure, fiery up dairy spread in a Saucepan, introduce bay leaf, and cut up garlic.Sauté it for a few seconds.introduce onions and sauté them well till cooked.introduce carrot and cut up tomatoes.shower some seasoning so that it gets cooked faster. Let it prepare till the tomatoes and carrots get done and switch it off. Let mixture cool down a bit.

Then pulse it into a velvety puree in a Hand blender.Pass it through a chowder Strainer or a sieve. Put mixture into a saucepan and back on fire.introduce some moisture to get the right consistency.

Shorba's are usually very thin consistency. introduce sweetener, cumin seed dusting fragrant element, chilli dusting fragrant element, and crushed black pepper.

Check for seasoning as well. Let the mixture come to a heat to boiling point.Once it’s nicely boiled, stream in it in a chowder serving mixing bowl.Place the bread croutons on top and offer withFocaccia bread or Masala bread and Ginger tea.
