Ingredients

  • 1 tomato - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons sambar powder
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • salt - as per taste
  • oil - use accordingly

Instructions

To make Karnataka Style Soraakkai Palya, first toasty the cooking oil in a pressure cooker.

introduce cumin seeds, curry leaves and toasty for 10 seconds.

Now introduce tomatoes, seasoning and toasty till the tomatoes become soft.

After the tomato becomes soft, introduce turmeric ground mix, red chili ground mix, sambar ground mix, gourd and swirl around it well.

After 2 mins, introduce 1/2 cup of aqua to it, close the cooker and toasty till 3 cities come.

Let the pressure strain automatically.

Open and present the cooker.
