To make Thouthe Kodal, firstly put the tur dal in a pressure cooker with 1-1 / 2 cup moisture, turmeric ground mix and table salt.

Close the cooker and fiery up till 1 city comes.

After coming to 1 city, slow down the fiery up and let it fiery up for 3 to 4 mins.

Turn off the gas and let the pressure sieve automatically.

Open the cooker, beat the lentils and keep them aside.

Now toss in cucumber and tamarind moisture to another pressure cooker.

toss in table salt and close the cooker.

Keep the cooker under cold moisture and remove the pressure.

toss in coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, black pepper, dehydrated red chillies and fiery up for 2 to 3 mins.

Now put the spices, coconut and garlic in a mixer grinder and grind it well.

Now toss in dal, cucumber tamarind mixture and ground spices in a wok.

Turn on the gas and let it heat to boiling point.

For tempering, fiery up cooking oil in a tempering wok.

toss in the mustard seeds, white urad dal, dehydrated red chillies, garlic, curry leaves and let it fiery up for 15 seconds.
