Ingredients

  • 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split)
  • 1 Cauliflower (gobi)
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1 Onion - chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Sunflower Oil - (adjust)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger - minced
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder

Instructions

To prepare Cauliflower Moong Dal method, arid toast the moong dal for few moments to get a nice aroma.Soak the dal in moisture for about 15-20 minutesNow wash the dal and put in a saucepan. introduce around 4 cups of moisture, seasoning, turmeric ground mix, cumin ground mix and the whole green chili to the dal.Let the dal to mildly hot for around 15-20 moments or until the dal become just soft.Now mildly hot cooking oil or ghee in another wok/kadai.introduce the cut up bulb produce in the cooking oil and shallow fry them until soft.introduce the ginger, tomato and agitate them to mash.

(If it is needed, introduce a little moisture so that your masala do not overcook).

agitate in the masala until everything gets cooked well.introduce the cauliflower florets in the wok and agitate carefully to coat all the floret with the masala.Then carefully stream in the cooked dal in the wok, give a agitate and wrap the wok; and let it mildly hot for around another 15-20 moments or until the cauliflower become soft.dust garam masala on the top, switch off the mildly hot and present Cauliflower Moong Dal method along with phulkas or Gehun Bhajra Thepla method for lunch or dinner.
