  • 1/2 cup Green beans (French Beans) - cut small
  • 1/2 cup Cauliflower (gobi) - cut into florets
  • 1 Potato (Aloo) - peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 Onion - thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
  • 1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
  • 3 teaspoon Maharashtrian Goda Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • Sunflower Oil - as needed
  • 1 Asafoetida (hing)
  • Salt - to taste
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coconut - grated
  • 10 Cashew nuts

Instructions

To prepare the Maharashtrian Masale Bhath formula, first wipe down, wash and soak the rice in enough liquid for 30 mins or so.toasty cooking oil in a saucepan over medium toasty, introduce the mustard seeds, allow seeds to crackle.

introduce bay leaf and wok-fry for few seconds.introduce the sliced onions and wok-fry till they turn light brown in color.

Next introduce the all the minced vegetables - carrot, beans, cauliflower, potatoes, onions and wok-fry for the few mins.

Now introduce the yogurt and swirl around to combine, saute the vegetables for next few mins.In the meanwhile toasty 2.5 cups of liquid and bring it to a bring to a low-boil in an another wok. introduce the rice along with red chili ground mix, goda masala, asafoetida, seasoning to the sauteed vegetables.

Now introduce the scalding liquid to the rice mixture.wrap the wok and low-boil the rice on a low flame till the grains are softened and cooked well.If you are using the pressure cooker to low-boil the rice, turn off the toasty after one or two whistle.

Let the steam escape naturally from the pressure cooker before opening the lid.To present Masala Baath, in a small wok toasty ghee over medium toasty, arid-fry the cashews till golden brown in colour.

Turn off the toasty.present Maharashtrian Masale Bhat formula along with Boondi Raita formula Spiced With Black seasoning and Kothimbir Vadi formula (Maharashtrian Coriander Fritters)  for the flavorful weekday lunch.
