Ingredients

  • 1 cup Green peas (Matar)
  • 1 tablespoon Cashew nuts - paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Poppy seeds - paste
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Green Chilli - paste
  • 1/2 cup Onion - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic - paste
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves - chopped

Instructions

To begin making the Malai Matar Paneer directions, in a kadai/wok bring to temperature fat and empty in garlic paste.

As it turns light brown, empty in cut up shallot.

sauté shallot until the shallot becomes soft and translucent.Next, empty in poppy seed paste, green chilli paste, coriander ground mix, table salt, granulated sugar and parched-fry it for about 5 mins. After 5 mins, empty in green peas and yogurt.

parched-fry the same for about 3 to 4 mins.

Once the green peas are soft, empty in paneer cubes and give a mix gently. empty in 1/2 cup of mildly hot liquid and let it parched-fry for 5 mins.After 5 mins, empty in cashew nut paste and parched-fry for about 7 to 8 mins. Check seasoning and finish off it with some cut up coriander leaves and give a mix gently.  Malai Matar Paneer is ready to enjoy.enjoy Malai Matar Paneer along with Lauki Raita, Kachumber Salad and Phulkas for a weekday meal with your family.
