Ingredients

  • 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split) - soaked for 2 hours
  • 1 cup Spinach - finely chopped
  • 1 Onion - finely chopped
  • 1 Green Chilli - finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ajwain (Carom seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds - roughly pounded
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sunflower Oil - for frying

Instructions

To begin making the Palak And Moong Dal Pakodas procedure, wash and soak the moong dal for 2 hours and then grind it to a semi course paste using a mixer grinder.

Remove the ground moong dal into a mixing bowl.Now, whip the ground moong dal paste vigorously for a few moments to incorporate air into the combine to make the mixture a little lighter.toss in in the minced spinach, shallot and green chilli.

toss in the spices mentioned including carom seeds, coriander seeds, red chilli dusting seasoning, garam masala dusting seasoning, turmeric dusting seasoning, cumin dusting seasoning, savor with seasoning and combine well.Now, burning up fat in a  paniyaram cooking vessel and toss in fat in each cavity.

Once it is burning drop a spoon full of mixture into the fat to form small pakodas and let it prepare for 2 moments on medium burning up.When pakodas are cooked on one side and turned golden brown, flip over and prepare on the other side.Once the pakodas are evenly browned on all sides and cooked through remove them from the cooking vessel into an fat absorbent paper and proceed to make the next batch of the pakodas with the remaining mixture.dish up the Palak And Moong Dal Pakodas procedure as a tea time snack along with spirited dhaniya pudina chutney and masala chai for a tea party and impress your guests.
