2-1/2 tablespoons Ghee
Salt - to taste
1 teaspoon Ajwain (Carom seeds)
1 teaspoon Whole Black Peppercorns - coarsely pounded
Water - to knead
Sunflower Oil - for deep frying

To begin making the mathri get all the fixings ready and handy.Take a mixing container empty in the maida, ghee, ajwain and agitate it well with your hands till the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. empty in moisture gradually and agitate till the baking flour comes together to form a firm and soft mathri flour base.work the flour base the mathri flour base it lightly and put it back into the container, seal it with a rinse damp cloth and let it rest for half an hour.mildly hot cooking oil for deep frying on a medium mildly hot.
