1 Cup White Urad Dal (Split)
1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
3 Green Chillies - finely chopped
2 inch Ginger
Salt - to taste
2-1/2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

To begin making Urad Dal Vada steps (Non Deep Fried), wash and soak Urad Dal in moisture for about 4 hours or overnight.Next day using very little moisture grind to fine thick paste.wrap and keep aside for about an hour or two in toasty place.introduce hing, diced green chilies, grated ginger and table salt. combine well.toasty the paniyaram cooking vessel and trickle little oil. Take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and empty into each pocket of appam cooking vessel .wrap and let them prepare on medium toasty for about 5 moments. Then flip them over and let them prepare on other side too.Till you see both the sides slightly browned.

Take them off and sauté them in paniyaram cooking vessel in batches.dish up Urad Dal Vada steps (Non Deep Fried) along with South Indian Coconut Chutney and alongside well-seasoned firm Masala Idli steps and Bangalore Restaurant Style Sambar steps.
