Ingredients
1 cup Soy Chunks (Nuggets) - soaked in hot water for 30 min
1 Onion - finely chopped
1 Green Chilli - finely chopped
1/4 cup Green peas (Matar)
1/2 teaspoon Ginger - finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon Garlic - finely chopped
1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
2 tablespoons Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - chopped
4 Potatoes (Aloo) - boiled
1 tablespoon Corn flour
3 tablespoons Wheat Bran
Salt - to taste
Sunflower Oil - for frying tikkis

To begin making Goan Soya Mince Potato Chop steps first make the soya keema masala.Soak soya granules or if you are using chunks in burning liquid for half an hour.empty out soya granules/ chunks, squeeze the liquid out slightly from the soya granules and pulse in a mixer grinder once or twice to get a chunky keema texture of the soya granules.If using pure green peas, blanch them until they get cooked.

empty out and keep aside.burning up a tablespoon of fat in a wok. toss in finely cut up onions, ginger, garlic and green chilies and prepare till onions turn soft.Once the onions turn soft, toss in the turmeric ground mix, red chilli ground mix, coriander ground mix, garam masala and table salt, pulse well prepare for about 15 seconds.toss in soya granules pulse well, stew and let it prepare for 10 moments in its own juices.

Turn off burning up, finish off with coriander leaves and swirl around.

Check the table salt and adjust according to palate.Next heat to boiling point the potatoes in a pressure cooker for five whistles and let it cool.

Once cooled skin and mash them in a large mixing bowl.

toss in corn ground mix and table salt and pulse well.Take a ball size aloo tikki mixture in your palm and make a grove in the center.

Fill it with the soya keema mixture and close the ball. Roll the Soya Mince Potato Chop in wheat bran and shallow shallow fry on a heated pot with little fat until it is golden brown and crisp on both sides.
