  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper (Capsicum) - diced
  • 1 Red Bell pepper (Capsicum) - diced
  • 1 tablespoon Groundnut powder
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Maharashtrian Goda Masala - optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 teaspoon Tamarind Paste
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Jaggery - grated
  • 2 teaspoons Sunflower Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - as required for garnishing

Instructions

To begin making the Bell Pepper Sabji directions, keep all the fixings prepped and ready.

First toasty cooking oil in a kadhai/wok.toss in the mustard seeds and once they splutter toss in the cumin seeds.toss in in the colored bell peppers and saute till it softens. toss in hing, turmeric ground mix, red chilli ground mix and Goda masala (if using) and combine well.toss in seasoning and prepare covered for 1 to 2 moments.

toss in the tamarind paste, jaggery, groundnut ground mix, sesame ground mix and a little aqua (about 3-4 tablespoon).prepare uncovered for 1 to 2 moments more, swirl around once or twice.accentuate with coriander leaves and offer immediately. offer Bell Pepper Sabji directions along with Gujarati Dal and Phulkas for a weekday lunch or dinner.
