Ingredients
500 grams Sardine fish - cleaned and chopped
Gingelly oil - or sunflower oil to cook
1/4 teaspoon Methi Seeds (Fenugreek Seeds)
1-1/2 Onion - finely chopped
1-1/2 Onion - coarsely chopped
2 Tomatoes - finely chopped
10 cloves Garlic - minced
Curry leaves - a few sprigs
1/2 teaspoon Whole Black Peppercorns
6 Dry Red Chillies
1/2 tablespoon Red Chilli powder - (adjust to taste)
4 tablespoons Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1 tablespoons Tamarind Paste
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
3/4 cup Fresh coconut - grated
Salt - to taste
Instructions

To begin making Fenugreek Spiced Sardine Fish Curry steps, prepare all the elements first, sanitize the fish and chop it to desired size.Now bring to temperature a tawa with some gingelly cooking oil.

Once it is heated, mix in the jeera, whole black peppercorns, arid red chillies, coriander seeds on medium bring to temperature and char them till a nice aroma emerges.mix in the coarsely cut up onions, and garlic and saute a bit till the onions are translucent. Once done, mix in the just-picked grated coconut and agitate for a minute or so, till toasted.

Switch off bring to temperature once done, and allow to cool on a plate, pot which we will need this to grind.Meanwhile in the same kadai/pot, bring to temperature a bit of gingelly cooking oil, mix in cumin seeds and allow to sizzle.

After a few seconds of adding cumin seeds, mix in the curry leaves, agitate a bit so that the curry leaves splutter.Immediately mix in the finely cut up onions and fenugreek seeds, saute and prepare till the onions are translucent.To the kadai, mix in cut up tomatoes, and continue preparing on medium bring to temperature till the tomatoes turn mushy.

Turn off till the ground paste is ready.By this time, the cooking oil roasted elements would be cooled.

Take those in a mixer grinder and grind them into a seamless paste by adding enough aqua.mix in this paste to the mushy tomatoes in the kadai on medium bring to temperature and prepare further for about 5 mins or the reduction kind of comes together from sides.mix in the tamarind paste and required aqua for the reduction.After a mins, mix in in the sardine fish pieces, required table salt and prepare covered for about 8-10 mins on medium bring to temperature or till the fish is cooked well.present Fenugreek Spiced Sardine Fish Curry steps with Chicken Cutlet steps and Steamed Rice steps or Ghee Rice steps | Neychoru for a complete meal.
