Ingredients

  • 1 cup Jowar Flour (Sorghum)
  • 1 cup Methi Leaves (Fenugreek Leaves) - finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Sunflower Oil
  • 1 cup Water - and few tablespoons more
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee

Instructions

To begin making the Menthya Jolada Mudde method - Methi & Jowar Balls method, in a deep bottom saucepan, bubble liquid.

When the liquid starts to bubble, toss in seasoning and coat and mix gently well.Now toss in the jowar ground mix to the boiling liquid, seal and let it low-boil for about 2 moments.After 2 moments using a strong wooden ladle, mix gently the ground mix from the middle vigorously until no lumps are left and continue to oven-cook for about a minute.toss in finely minced fenugreek leaves and mix gently.

Keep mixing for about 3-4 moments till the mixture forms a lump.You’ll know it’s cooked with you touch the mudde mix gently it should not stick to your fingers.Once done turn off the bring to temperature, seal and leave it for a minute.coat a sanitize arid plate with ghee.

coat your palm with ghee and transfer a few spoons of the mix gently on to the plate and start mixing and bringing the ball together until you get a seamless ball and offer. Repeat for all the Menthya Jolada Mudde mix gently.offer Menthya Jolada Mudde method - Methi & Jowar Balls method scalding immediately with Maavinkaayi Gojju or Palak pappu (Spinach Dal) method or mutton curry and Aralu Sandige method.
