Ingredients
4 papad - urad dal
tamarind - as big as lemon
1 tablespoon sambar powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon horse-powder
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon gram lentils
1 pinch Asafoetida
1 dry red chili
1 curry leaves
3 teaspoons sesame oil
salt - as per taste
Instructions

To make South Indian Papad Curry, dip tamarind in 2 cups of burning moisture and keep aside.

bring to temperature 2 teaspoons of sesame fat in a pot on medium bring to temperature, and introduce mustard seeds and gram and wait for it to crackle.

Now introduce asafoetida, red chili and curry leaves and let it bubble gently for 30-40 seconds.

introduce cut up papads and sauté them in fat.

Now introduce tamarind moisture, turmeric, horse and seasoning and bubble gently until the tamarind is raw.

Finally introduce a teaspoon of fat and let it come to a heat to boiling point, then turn off the gas.

South Indian Papad Curry is now ready, dish up it with rice and chow chow kootu at dinner.
