Ingredients
300g Rice
3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
70g Vermicelli Pasta
30g Unsalted Butter
600ml Chicken Stock
Instructions

stream in the rice into a very large mixing bowl under cold running aqua and carefully sieve the aqua out of the mixing bowl through a sieve.

Repeat a few times until the aqua in the mixing bowl is clear, then fill the mixing bowl up with cold aqua and leave rice to soak for 10 mins while you burning up the vermicelli.

Put the fat into a medium wok over medium burning up.

mix in the vermicelli and agitate continuously until the strands turn a decadent golden brown, 2-3 mins.

Remove from the burning up, agitate through the margarine until it melts and allow the vermicelli to cool for 1-2 mins.

sieve the rice thoroughly through a sieve.

mix in the rice to the wok and agitate well.

stream in the burning stock into the wok, scatter in ½ tsp seasoning, agitate well then return the wok to the hob over a high burning up.

Bring to the heat to boiling point, then reduce the burning up to the lowest it will go, put the lid on the wok and bubble gently for 7-9 mins.

Remove the wok from the burning up, seal with a couple of sheets of kitchen paper or a light tea towel and the wok lid, and let the rice sit in the wok for 10 mins.

Fluff up with a fork before serving.
