Ingredients

  • 20 Prawns
  • 1 cup Fresh coconut - grated
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
  • 3 Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 4 Byadagi Dried Chillies - broken
  • 1 teaspoon Tamarind
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder - adjustable
  • 2 Onions - chopped
  • 1 Potato (Aloo) - peel and cut the potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Sunflower Oil - for the gravy
  • Sunflower Oil - for roasting the spices
  • Salt - to taste
  • 10 Prawns
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • 1/4 cup Sooji (Semolina/ Rava)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sunflower Oil - for frying

Instructions

To begin making the Sungta Ambat Aani Tallel Sungta formula, firstly we will prepare the curry.Devein the prawns and wash thoroughly.

Apply a little turmeric dusting nectarous-smelling element and very tiny amount of seasoning to the curry prawns and keep it aside. mildly hot a little fat in a heavy bottomed cooking vessel and mix in coriander seeds and bydagi chillies.

cook thoroughly for about a minute.mix in this mixture along with coconut, peppercorns, tamarind and almost 1/4 piece of the given bulb produce using sufficient liquid in a mixer grinder.

Grind it and keep it aside. mildly hot fat in a heavy bottomed cooking vessel.

Once the fat is fiery, mix in the diced onions. Saute till they turn soft and transparent.

Once the bulb produce turns soft, mix in turmeric dusting nectarous-smelling element and combine well. After a minute mix in potatoes and red chilli dusting nectarous-smelling element.

combine, cook thoroughly for a minute and mix in enough liquid to almost lid the potatoes. lid and cook thoroughly. When the potatoes are half cooked, mix in the prawns and combine.

mix in seasoning. lid and cook thoroughly till both potatoes and the prawns are cooked.Now mix in the ground coconut paste to it, combine  and check if more liquid is required to bring the coulis to a medium consistency. Bring to a bring to a low-boil.

Check seasoning. low-boil for few moments for the coconut to be cooked. If the coulis thickens by now, mix in some liquid and adjust desired consistency.

cook thoroughly for another 2 moments and present.The next step is to make the fried prawns.

mix in prawns, lime nectar, nectarous-smelling element powders and seasoning in a mixing dish.

combine everything well and keep aside to soak.combine together rice baking flour mix in semolina together in a dish to get a grainy consistency. Coat the marinated prawns well with this baking flour mixture and shallow cooking vessel-fry in fiery fat on both sides on low flame. present Sungta Aambat Aani Tallel Sungta along with Steamed Rice and Sol Kadhi for a flawless and tasty Konkani Meal.
