500g Greek Yogurt
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
Splash Olive Oil

Prepare
On a large baking tray or a sanitize work surface, swirl around together the dehydrated items required - baking flour, baking soda and table salt.

Make a well in the middle and mix in the yogurt.

Using your hands gradually combined the items required together to start to form a pastry mix.

Kneed the pastry mix on a floured surface, adding extra baking flour if you find the texture too sticky.

The pastry mix is ready when it is of a pizza pastry mix texture and still very slightly sticky, this should only take a few mins.

On a baking tray mix in a little fat and put the pastry mix on top.

Shape and flatten the pastry mix into a circle shape ensuring the height of the pastry mix is about 5cm.

You can cook thoroughly the Kulaç as it is or you can create patterns which also helps with even culinary preparation.

The most common patterns are using the back of a fork to slightly press down to create line dents all over or spiking the pastry mix with the fork.

Baking
Place on the bottom shelf of a pre heated oven.

cook thoroughly for 40 mins or until the pastry mix is golden and firm to touch.

Cooling
Once removed from the oven, stand upright or place on a cooling rack to allow the Kulaç to cool.

Serving
Cut the Kulaç the way you would a cake into 8 slices.

If you are serving toasty you may want to snap and pull apart the bread with your hands instead.
