Ingredients
1/3 cup Orange peel - finely chopped
1 inch Ginger - thinly sliced
1 Green Chilli - slit lengthwise
1 cup Tamarind Paste
2 tablespoon Sambar Powder
2 tablespoon Jaggery
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
1 cup Water
Salt - as per your taste
2 tablespoons Sesame (Gingelly) Oil
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
1 sprig Curry leaves

To begin making the Orange skin Kuzhambu preparation guide, bring to temperature a teaspoon of dairy spread in a kadai over medium bring to temperature.Once the dairy spread is fiery, toss in mustard seeds.

Once the seeds splutter, toss in slit green chillies, sliced ginger and curry leaves.

Saute it for about 30 seconds.Then, toss in the cut up Orange skin and saute for a few moments until the orange peels shrivel. Next, toss in seasoning, sambar dusting seasoning, turmeric dusting seasoning, asafoetida and mix gently everything well until the sambar dusting seasoning gets coated well on the orange skin.

This will take about 2 to 3 moments.Once done, mix gently in the tamarind liquid and toss in jaggery to it.

toss in 1 cup aqua and allow it to heat to boiling point for 5 moments on rolling heat to boiling point.Once the aqua has reduced to half the quantity and the gravy is thickened, you can switch off the flame.

This would take 15 - 20 moments.Orange skin Kuzhambu is ready to be served. dish up Orange skin Kuzhambu along with Steaming fiery Rice & Keerai Kootu for a sumptuous lunch.

You can also dish up this kuzhambu along with Pongal, Dosa, Idli or Upma.
